I have 20 years of clinical experience in both private practice and academic medicine.  My first office was in Bound Brook and the practice was named Middlebrook Family Practice.  After 16 years there I was recruited by Somerset Medical Center to become the director of its Family Medicine residency program.  Completing two years of academic and administrative pursuits, I chose to return  to private practice.  I am very involved both state-wide and nationally with Family Medicine endeavors.  Having heard many talks on what the office of the future should be, I decided to follow that path with my new office.

I am located at 211 Courtyard Drive in Hillsborough, New Jersey. 

1.  What type of practice is it? 

        I have established a small practice with a personal touch.  It is state-of-the-art medicine including email access and (hopefully very soon) web visits.  I have spent quite a lot of time looking a different models of practice, especially one where patients have increased access to their physician when they need it.  I have also attended several national meetings which dealt with the application of technology in Family Medicine.  I want to rebuild a practice where you feel taken care of and listened to.  The relationship I have with you is very important to me and I want to make sure that you know it all the time.  This is not "old-fashioned" medicine, it is "new-fashioned" medicine.  And it is about time.

2.  Will you take my insurance?

        Most likely YES.  Although it is not possible to have a contract with all plans, I do have one with most of the major ones.  Remember that the books of participating providers are often out of date.  If you do not see my name call our office at 908-722-9962.
